New Zealaner buys MP3 player with US Army files

And you thought Palin/McCain Blackberries were bad. Try the US Army. In November last year the US Defence Department banned the use of portable data storage devices.

However, Chris Ogle from Whangerei got more than he bargained for when he bought an MP3 player from an Oklahoma thrift shop for $18.
When the 29-year-old hooked up the player he discovered a playlist he could never have imagined – 60 files in total, including the names and personal details of American soldiers.
“The more I look at it, the more I see and the less I think I should be!” he says.
Some of the information appears to be a mission briefing.

Green House Kana Micro: The world’s SMALLEST MP3 player

Seriously. What do Japs think of next. That’s even smaller than my iPod shuffle. Nice. Except you’ll need to provide your own MicroSD card more storage (up to 2GB). And did I mention the battery life? It’s 2 hours before you need to recharge via USB again.
Whoa, you say. I’m going to Japan to get this right away. How much was it again? A mere ¥1,480, or about $16. Sweet. Read
