Hewlett-Packard (HP) plans to launch new members in its Mini-note family including the Mini-note 2150 with built-in a 3G module at the beginning of June this year, according to sources at notebook makers.
Before the Mini-note 2150, HP will launch the Mini-note 2140 featuring a 10.1-inch 16:9 aspect ratio panel in the beginning of February priced starting at NT$18,900 (US$567) for the enterprise market.
HP will launch a new 11.6-inch notebook in the second quarter and a 13.3-inch low-cost model in June. Both will be part of the Mini-note family and will possibly use Intel’s Atom Zxx series processors (Menlow).
All the Mini-note notebooks and netbooks will be manufactured by Inventec.
